Spend Halloween at the the Miami Beach Cinematheque for a special screening of Creature from the Black Lagoon in 3D with special guest, the original creature himself, Ricou Browning. Showtime is at 8:30 pm.

Ambassadors for Cuban music Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club play to a sold out show tonight at the Arsht Center. The Grammy-winning group famous for the song Chan-Chan has been touring the globe since 1997 and will finally say goodbye with their last tour. While the Miami show is sold out - you might be able to find some resale tickets - you can still listen to the music.

Artist Rachel Harrison kicks of the first of many bassX programs with a photo series titled Voyage of the Beagle, Two. The series explores modern day menhirs, the prehistoric stones the represent the oldest figurative sculptures on earth. The works title comes from Charles Darwin's observational notes taken on the ship of the same name, which later led to his theories of evolution. The show opened this week and will close November 15. bassX is a series of artist projects taking place at the Miami Beach Public Library.
