AMANDA KEELEY OF EXILE BOOKS DEBUTS NEW SOLO EXHIBTION

Miami-based artist and Exile Books Founder Amanda Keeley debuts a new solo exhibition titled Dance Constructions today at the Frederic Snitzer Gallery. Keeley explores how body movement relates to architecture, referencing the history of choreography and dance notation through a suite of five sculptural forms for the show. Each references a specific range of motion and will be activated by live dancers. The show is accompanied by a soundtrack that includes music from composer Giles Martin. The exhibit runs until November 27th and the opening reception is tonight at the gallery from 7 to 9 pm. A book title Dance Instructions accompanies the work.
