James Bay Plays at The Fillmore

English Singer-songwriter James Bay makes a stop at The Fillmore Miami Beach on Wednesday, September 21, at 8:00 pm to play songs from his debut album Chaos and Calmreleased last year. 

In 2014, the guitarist released his single "Hold Back the River", which has been certified platinum, just before his album which rose to peak positions on charts all over the world. Bay was first inspired to play guitar after hearing Eric Clapton's Layla. He was discovered by record execs after a fan uploaded a video to YouTube of him at an open mic night in a London.

The Portland-based band Josephformed by three sisters, opens. There are limited tickets available. The Fillmore is a venue at the historic art deco Jackie Gleason Theater in the heart of South Beach.

Nick Cave Film Screening at O Cinema

On Thursday, September 8th Sweat Records and O Cinema present the official one-night-only experience of NICK CAVE: ONE MORE TIME WITH FEELING. The film screens simultaneously in cinemas across the world on September 8th, prior to the release of Cave's 16th studio album Skeleton Tree the following day, September 9th.

Originally created as a performance concept One More Time With Feeling developed into a larger project with the help of director Andrew Dominik that explores what it takes to write and record an album. The screening will be the first opportunity for fans to hear the latest album from Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds. 

Screening starts at 9:00 pm, tickets are limited.

Leon Bridges Plays at The Fillmore

Soulful artist Leon Bridges comes to The Fillmore at The Jackie Gleason Theater on Tuesday, September 13th. The singer is known for his modern take on 1960's soul, rhythm, and blues sounds. In 2015 he released his debut album, "Coming Home," and has since been on tour, traveling around the world and back again. Prior to signing with Columbia Records, the artist made a living as a restaurant dishwasher, playing open-mic nights around his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas.

London-born singer / songwriter Lianne La Havas opens. There are limited tickets available. The Fillmore is a venue at the historic art deco Jackie Gleason Theater in the heart of South Beach.
