NEWT Miami Unveils new Lightshow

NEWT MIAMI: EXPERIMENTS IN LIGHT, COLOR & SOUND

On Tuesday, November 10th, NEWT Miami unveils a new temporary light show at the Intercontinental in Downtown Miami. Based on Newton's ideas of theory that each primary color relates to a music note, NEWT will screen colors alongside a musical composition by the Nu Deco Ensemble. The show can also be seen from afar with prime spots outlined on a map - tune-in to synchronized music through your phone. The show will be up until November 15th.

Exile Books opens Orange Oratory

EXILE BOOKS PARTNERS WITH THE WOLFSONIAN

The Wolfsonian and Exile Books team up for a temporary activation of the Bridge Tender House, celebrating all things orange. Exile Books will take residency in the shop and produce a book celebrating orange themed works from the museum's permanent collection. The opening reception takes place tomorrow, November 6th from 6 - 8 pm at the museum.

Contemporary Ballet at YoungArts

OUTSIDE THE BOX SERIES BRINGS NEW DANCE TO MIAMI

YoungArts presents Outside the Box, featuring Complexions Contemporary Ballet - the first resident dance company at YoungArts. Cofounded by Desmond Richardson the company will reside in Miami from Oct 25 to Nov 8 and perform a master work choreographed by Dwight Rhoden. The free performance takes place Saturday, November 7th at pm.
