FRIGHT NIGHTS IN WYNWOOD

The first Popcorn Frights Film Festival kicks off this week at O Cinema in Wynwood, Oct 1 -4. The festival is Florida's first and only with a horror flick focus, featuring short and feature length films meant to give you nightmares. A festival badge for $45 gets you all-access to all screenings. Thursday the festival opens with an 11 pm screening of Invaders, followed by The Diabolical, Night of Slasher, Bone Tomahawk, and more throughout the weekend. Get your tickets now.

90s SUPERMODEL starts at THE BEGINNING

Supermodel and Icon Cindy Crawford comes to Miami with a special Books and Books Offsite presentation at the MDC Chapman Conference Center Monday October 5th at 7 PM. In conversation with NBC's Jackie Nespral, Crawford talks about her new book Becoming printed by Rizzoli, which chronicles her career from the start, sharing stories and memorable moments. The photos included in the book featured unpublished images from Crawford's personal archive by fashion names such as Herb Ritts, Irving Penn, and Helmut Newton, among others.

Buddy Guy Rocks Hard Rock Live

LEGENDARY AMERICAN BLUESMAN IN FLORIDA

George "Buddy" Guy talented guitarist and singer, credited with influencing other musician greats like Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, plays at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood this October. In the 1960s Guy played with Muddy Waters and harmonica player Junior Wells and his well-known songs include, Mustang Sally, Feels Like Rain, and Damn Right, I've Got the Blues.  At 79 years old, Guy is counted as one of the greatest guitarists of all-time.
